Top 5 Not-To-Miss Features at the Show

There’s so much to do and see when you visit the Birmingham Home Show. To help maximize your day, here are the top five, must-see features at the show – outside of checking out celebrity speakers Madcap Cottage and Chris and Peyton Lambton.
1. Go Glamping
The Madcap duo’s unique view point will be on full display during the show, where they will create a “glamping” feature – a colorful campsite unlike any other complete with with two gorgeous bell tents provided by Stout Tent and furniture set up right inside the BJCC.
2. Pay A Visit to BLOOMingham
BLOOMingham is back by popular demand, providing a pavilion within the show where guests can learn how to green their thumbs and make their gardens grow.Participants include Alabama Cooperative Extension System; Aldridge Gardens; Better Business Bureau of Central & South Alabama; Birmingham Botanical Gardens; Birmingham Rose Society and Jefferson County Master Gardeners.
3. DIY for Kids
The cutest DIYers in Birmingham are invited to participating in the Home Depot Children’s Workshop on Saturday and Sunday. Kids (aged 2 and up) are invited to participate in a make and take workshop where they’ll get to construct a small project right at the show and take it home.
4. Ride, Drive & Win
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is bringing a ride and drive event to the Birmingham Home Show. Guests can get behind the wheels of 2018’s latest releases- and everyone who takes a spin takes home a complimentary gift and gets entered to win a $500 Gift Card. Located outside of the show’s main entrance at the East Hall.
5. Hometown Flavor Stage
The kitchen is always the busiest room in the house, and that definitely holds true in Birmingham. One of the show’s newest features is the Hometown Flavor Stage, where Magic City’s favorite chefs will demo recipes and bring samples for audience members.
