As the calendar moves from January to February, how are those 2025 resolutions going so far? If your 2025 resolutions include home improvement, a visit to the upcoming Birmingham Home Show running February 21-23 can help set you up to tackle those resolutions.

Here are some home improvement resolutions a visit to the show can help you keep:

1. Resolution: Get Organized.

If this is the year you want to declutter once and for all, don’t miss the Space Cadets presentations on Saturday and Sunday called “15 Minutes to Organized!”. They’ll teach you how organization and decluttering is a form of self-care, and good design will help homeowners get (and stay) organized. Guests can also visit them at booth 443.

2. Resolution: Be Smarter with Money.

Financial resolutions are among the most common year after year. 3. Resolution: Less Screen Time.

Looking for ways to decrease screen time for the whole family? A visit to the show offers multiple opportunities to stop scrolling, and start learning. A fun family-friendly activity highlighted at this year’s show is the Lowe’s Kids Workshops. Create fun DIY projects on Saturday and Sunday from Noon until 3 p.m. Workshops run on the hour.

4. Resolution: Cook More at Home.  

Other popular resolutions for a new year are to learn to cook and eat at home more. That’s where the Hometown Flavor Cooking Stage comes in. Local chefs from some of Birmingham’s top restaurants show how to prepare popular recipes for guests, with presentations daily throughout the show. 5. Resolution: Live Your Best Life.  

If 2025 is the year you aim to live your best life, start by treating yourself to the very best home improvement advice. If you’re starting a home improvement project, a visit to the show gives you access to local experts on everything from design to remodeling to landscaping. Additionally, get home improvement expertise from two of the best in the business – twin sisters and dynamic design duo Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb from HGTV’s Unsellable Houses. They appear on the Fresh Ideas stage on Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m.
